i’ve had a metal claw clip (from some random shop in china) and no joke i’ve had it for about 6 years now and it’s the only thing that keeps my hair up!

Flat claw clips are so much more comfortable. I have mid length, thick hair and they hold it well. Not sure about durability, but had mine a few years now.
