So all of them few 2 or 3 pounds cheaper was taken back ten fold. Once the local taxi has gone Uber will increase the price. The drivers will not benifit either.

Hackneys cherry pick all the time even when it's in their licensing area. Dynamic pricing works both ways - don't hear many complaining when it's cheaper than bus fare. Black cabs have surge pricing as well but they hide it under the different tariffs depending on day and time

Uber dynamic pricing absolute garbage, tried to get an uber on Sunday in Glasgow, price when booking £19.95, plenty of drivers in the area, but no one would take the fare. One guy who was an Uber driver was sitting at the side of the road with no fare just rejecting the fares coming in. Suddenly the price for the uber I tried to order jumped up £30 to £49, scamming drivers in Glasgow!!!!
