Me n mine got tg in may of 2025 didn’t “break up” but stopped talking for like 2 or so months bc resentment of unresolved issues we came back made up talked it out and kept the original date because I see it as not “how long” you’ve physically been together but the day your story started an the bond/connection you have with that person you wouldn’t say you guys just got together if you were together previously because there’s so much more to you guys than it only being a couple days in so me and mine are at a year an a half cuz that’s when our story started regardless of our ups an downs an we don’t wanna throw away a whole year of previous memories for a small misunderstanding, hope this helps
