FAA doesnt come get stuff. They rely on local jurisdictions to collect evidence like that and store it for them to get later. The NTSB will collect the larger parts from the main scene to attempt reconstruction later on.

correct me if I am wrong.... the skin failed at the pulled rivet line.... they don't look like cherries.... and not a one of them is set right. looks like the buck tail has been pulled out of the lock...or it was never set right to begin with.
