the fact that there’s so much noise while she’s talking is prime example of how little people care about women’s health… it’s so disturbing

I keep getting denied disability I have stage 4 endometriosis that’s spread to my chest and diaphragm and lungs and 4 surgeries and more to come!!! And they couldn’t remove it all because of certain spots it was at that could damage main nerves etc…. Bladder repair and a catheter bag for 1 month and my spine is all messed up 8 herniated disk or more from neck down and osteoarthritis in ribs and knees and neck and spine and wrist… thyroid disease possibly MS and fibromyalgia the list goes on. I’ve worked a few jobs but I’ve been a stay at home mom mostly for my 2 kids and because I couldn’t hold down jobs or they would let me go because of being down or out and surgery and lots of drs appointments back to back. I can’t help it!!!!!! I just want enough to pay my health insurance that has now went up to 600$ went from 60$ 200$ to now 600$ my husband can only do so much. I want to have it to pay my insurance and gas for appointments and meds and certain things I need. That’s all 😭

I suffered from Adeno for years, it took me forever to get a diagnosis and finally a hysterectomy. I remember taking so many painkillers just to get through a basic work day. Women’s health really deserve more attention then it gets

You know what I love about that is that she didn’t specifically mention it as a women’s disease (which sometimes I feel is used to diminish the issue).

Christine Turner :
I was diagnosed with Endo at the age of 30. Suffered from the age of 15. Kept being told it’s part of being a woman. Had a hysterectomy at 30. They left my ovaries, then had to go back the following year to have them removed. At that time they also removed part of my bowel and punctured my bladder trying to remove the Endo. Having the hysterectomy was the best thing I ever did. Still have some discomfort but nothing unbearable.
