I think people need to understand that how a man treats you has very little to do with whether or not he'll cheat. A man can treat you like an absolute goddess, cry while you're giving birth to his child, kiss your forehead and still cheat on you. And on the other hand, a man can be disrespectful, abusive and treat women horribly yet still remain loyal. Because loyalty and morality aren't necessarily the same thing as how well someone treats their partner. It comes down to a person's own morals, principles and respect for commitment. And honestly, I'd rather a man tell me he won't cheat because he respects the commitment he made to me, rather than simply because he loves me. Love is a feeling, and feelings can change. But your principles and the respect you have for a commitment shouldn't depend on how you're feeling that day. And most importantly, let's stop making women feel like they somehow weren't enough or did something wrong to deserve being cheated on. Cheating is a choice made by the person who cheats. It is NEVER the cheated-on person's fault.

When I woke up after our emergency c section and both me and my baby almost not making it he was crying hugging me that he loved me … a few hours later I found messages of him with another girl, they were talking the whole time … I’ll never understand how men are like this

My heart shattered after reading a message that my husband sent to another coworker about how I got cold feet about going to a job interview and how I don’t contribute much anymore since all I do is stay home with our 11 week old son. He forgot to mention to that coworker that I had to give up my previous job I loved because I didn’t qualify for FMLA, I’m also waiting to see if I get accepted into the Law School at ASU for my masters and also how he begged me not to go back to work for the sake of our family. I silently checked out that day and decided I will make a good life for my son and I with time.
