@afteractionmedia: A Learjet 60 carrying nine people plunged from roughly 35,000 feet to below 9,000 feet in about a minute before crashing in Palm Beach County, Florida. All seven passengers and two crew members were killed. Minutes earlier, the pilots had reported light icing and moderate turbulence while flying at approximately 35,000 feet. After encountering precipitation, the crew requested a climb to 37,000 feet. Then came the Mayday. The descent rapidly accelerated, with investigators documenting rates reaching tens of thousands of feet per minute before impact. Now the NTSB says evidence suggests the aircraft may have begun breaking apart before it hit the ground. But one thing is important: investigators have NOT determined the cause. Weather, icing, turbulence, aircraft structure, systems and maintenance history are all part of the ongoing investigation. The After Action lesson: early evidence can tell us what happened — but not necessarily why. Good disaster investigation separates verified facts from theories until the evidence supports a conclusion. Information verified November 3, 2026. History retold. Lessons learned. What do you think investigators will focus on most — weather, aircraft systems, or the possible in-flight breakup? #PalmBeach #Learjet60 #PlaneCrash #AviationSafety #NTSB #Aviation #AviationNews #PrivateJet #AirCrashInvestigation #FloridaNews #DisasterNews #AfterActionMedia
