Isn't eating at true maintenance impossible?
You are always eating either more or less calories than you are burning.

So below what body fat percentage would a surplus be needed? Also even though a caloric surplus doesn’t directly do anything it does give you energy that can help push harder in the gym, atleast in my experience

What do you change to make a single arm overhead extension harder in the lengthened position vs the contracted position. Or is that not needed for tricep growth

Does the seat incline really matter that much on leg press Ik the more inclined the less quad biased but it’s much easier for me to lock myself into the seat while doing it. Will I truly miss anything by having a higher seat incline?

My mistake I’m trying to account for the average person, as it’s much harder to get a perfect maintenance and not drop into deficit vs just being in slight surplus to ensure adequate energy for muscle growth. Assuming perfect maintenance and good fat storage you’re probably correct

Hes genuinely right but it helps indirectly you guys aren’t listening. The extra nutrients and calories can be used in other systems throughout your body. When a system has excess energy, it typically works better. Wether that be better mental effects, more energy, all these things add up positively and indirectly can make you produce more muscle and do it more efficiently.
