@theanimewan: Yami Sukehiro from Black Clover might be one of the greatest mentors in shonen anime, and his philosophy reveals a powerful lesson about self-worth, personal growth, and believing in others. As captain of the Black Bulls, Yami gives rejected and underestimated Magic Knights like Asta, Noelle Silva, and the rest of his squad a place to belong before they’ve proven themselves. But what makes Yami’s leadership so powerful is that he doesn’t just accept people for who they are. He challenges them to surpass their limits and discover who they can become. From teaching Asta how to sense ki to unlocking Dimension Slash against Vetto, Yami demonstrates that true mentorship isn’t about empty motivation or constant criticism. It’s about recognizing someone’s potential, giving them the tools to improve, and leading by example. Black Clover teaches us that accepting yourself doesn’t mean giving up on your growth. The right people will love you for who you are while believing in everything you could become. #blackclover #yami #anime #animetiktok #animefyp

It really hit me when he said you really just need 1 person to push you. Sadly I can’t keep waiting for that 1 person, I’ll just become that 1 for others ✨

Great opinion. We see it with Yami and Nacht, Yami and Magna, Yami and Henry. Yami isnt super nice, he will tell ppl what their flaws are, but he never once said they cant grow with them, and encourages the opposite
