@reuters: Jerkis Mahamba is one of a growing number of Ebola survivors in Congo who, with immunity from the strain currently spreading through eastern Democratic Republic of Congo, found a calling at the bedside of sick children battling the often-fatal disease in isolation wards. Mahamba caught the highly ‌infectious disease himself in September and recovered after 18 days of treatment at the same center.
