Our education system is not made for young boys.

Just watched your kindergarteners. If you’re playing a game that involves some type of ball and a girl has the ball, a boy, even at that young age, will just walk up and take the ball from her. And often the girls let them because even at five and six, they’ve learned.

The reason we cant reach them in the classroom is because they dont care. Why should they? Curent masculinity doesnt value intelligence, dilligence, cooperation, compassion or awareness of others, i see it everyday in the way their behavior is reinforced by adults neglecting to correct their behavior. All things necessary to succeed in a classroom. Masculinity values aggression, dominance, competiveness and loyalty which is reinforced by the boys themselves through social acceptance. I could see the contrast in social programming so clearly as a trans boy. I tried to show others that i was a boy by acting like a boy (ie like myself) but was constantly corrected by adults, called disruptive, mischevious, disrespectful, un-lady-like, and so on. Only when i "acted like a lady" was i given positive praise and attention. But I watched the other boys, watched how i could do the same exact thing as them, right alongside them, and be the only one chastised. The boys dont need special attention, they need to be treated like girls, need to be told they arent acting gentlemanly when shouting in the classroom, or not respecting their peers space, or being unclean and slovenly in the bathroom. They act accordingly when we give them the accord. I have had genuine concersations with boys about how their actions affect others, how they have a responsibility to look out for other people, that as a boy you may move through the world one way but the girls around you have to move through it completely differently. Most of those conversations really opened their eyes and i noticed a shift in the way they acted the hallway, the way they asked others to be respectful towards their peers or environment and most importantly the pride they developed in themselves for being a leader because what one boy does so do 3 others.

As a former teacher, I think we have a problem with holding our boys accountable. Particularly our white boys.

I taught my son how to read before kindergarten and he’s the few only kids who reads full books in class and his grades aren’t reflecting because he doesn’t sit still enough in class.

Hate to admit it but a lot of it is neglect due to the assumption that they’ll automatically be superior at things compared to their sisters and then they get left behind it makes no sense but I’ve seen it happen in real time

Real strength is not “respect”. How does one respect others when they can’t respect themselves or maybenot have a household/environment that respects them?

I mean sure but another issue you people have is the fact that you don't promote your boys you promote your idea of what a boy and/or male and/or man is, effectively your motivations are tainting your actions because for a lot of y'all it's not about helping the boys it's about helping the girls by changing the boys and boys already see that was just the reason why your efforts aren't really getting as good results as you would like

Two questions I’d love to hear from the comments on. 1, if you’re claiming that the modern school system heavily favors girls, what changes would need to be made to make it more egalitarian? And 2, when you say that boys need to be respected for us to get anywhere, do you mean actual respect as a human person, or respect as an authority? Because I personally have seen a lot of conflation between the two in these types of arguments.

As a girl Mom, and someone who was severely bullied by boys growing up and now works in an all male industry and is bullied by my male coworkers and bosses, I have raised my daughter to completely ignore boys and act as if they don’t exist. I’ve raised her to completely decenter them and literally do whatever she wants and pay them no mind. She’s not friends with any little boys at all. We only have play dates with girls and only invite girls to our home and birthday parties and she is a very happy kid and has a large group of friends. Most little boys these days are mean and very entitled. I’m teaching her early that we don’t care about these men and there’s no reason for us to put them on a pedestal because they dang sure don’t put us on a pedestal. my mom was incredibly male centered and I watched it literally ruin her life and I refuse to be the same and allow my daughter to be the same. Men and boys are dangerous.

What? Even going as far as college this is just patently untrue. Success in one area is “almost” always a predictor of success in others. Outside of true outliers like those naturally gifted enough to not need discipline or passion

As the mother of kind and respectful boys who are thriving at school, it comes down to actually raising them. Too many parents have the “boys will be boys” mentality and they just let them do whatever. It’s insane

I have found I have the most issues with boys who aren’t connected to anything (no group, no tribe). The students who feel the most invisible (boys & girls) are students who have no group/ no tribe.

CAN SOMEONE REALLY HACK YOUR DEVICE JUST BY SENDING YOU A LINK? You receive a link, open it in your browser, and everything looks normal. But what if that webpage contains a hidden script designed to interact with your browser? This is where Browser Exploitation Framework (BeEF) comes into the picture. In this video, we explore how browser-based security testing works and how ethical hackers use tools like BeEF to investigate potential browser vulnerabilities in authorized testing environments. HERE'S WHAT THE VIDEO COVERS: 1. BeEF — Browser Exploitation Framework Understand how BeEF works, how browser hooking operates, and why malicious scripts embedded in webpages can create security risks. 2. Linode — Cloud Infrastructure Explore how cloud hosting can be used to build a controlled cybersecurity testing environment and why securing cloud infrastructure is important. 3. Name.com — Domain Management Learn the role of domain names and DNS in web infrastructure, including how attackers may misuse seemingly legitimate websites to deceive users. 4. Browser Hooking and Security Risks Understand how browser-based scripts can interact with a webpage and why unsafe websites, outdated browsers, and insecure configurations can increase security risks. 5. Ethical Testing and Defense Explore how cybersecurity professionals assess browser security with permission, identify weaknesses, and recommend protective measures. IMPORTANT: Opening a link does not automatically give someone complete control of your phone or computer. The actual risk depends on browser vulnerabilities, permissions, user interactions, and other security conditions. HOW CAN YOU PROTECT YOURSELF? Keep your browser and operating system updated, avoid suspicious links, review website permission requests, and never install software from untrusted websites. The purpose of ethical hacking is not to compromise random devices. It's to understand vulnerabilities, test them in authorized environments, and help prevent real-world attacks. A link might look harmless, but understanding what happens behind the browser is an important part of cybersecurity awareness.
