Part I Round 1 – Center Ring Ch 5. Join with a sl st to the first ch to form a ring. Round 2 – Center Work 8 sc into the ring. Join with a sl st to the first sc. Round 3 – Leaf Foundation Sc in the same st as the join. Ch 5, skip the next 3 sts, then sl st in each of the next 2 sts. Sc in each of the next 2 sc sts of the center. Rep the sequence (ch 5, skip 3 sts, sl st in the next 2 sts, sc in the next 2 sts) 3 more times. Join with a sl st. Round 4 – Leaf Petals Ch 2. Sl st into the middle of the next ch-3 sp. Work the following stitches into the same ch-3 sp: * Ch 3 * 2 tr * 2 dc * Ch 1 * 1 tr * Ch 1 * 2 dc * 2 tr * Ch 3 * Sl st * Ch 2 Sl st into the next sc sp. Rep the leaf sequence around 3 more times.
