@theordinaryguyrant2: With no mandate and no vote whatsoever this treacherous Labour government are taking us back into the EU rule club a. Forcing our people and our businesses to complete EU laws over which we have ZERO control. Energy, carbon, food and farming, education…..all capitalised and thrown away. #eu #europeanunion #labour #traitors #treacherous
If he tries to do it without a referendum,he has no right and will be in court

Diverging from EU food standards was utterly pointless and expensive. It added huge costs to exporters. Aligning food standards is the pragmatic choice

so what was the point in 17.4million voters voted for then? the vote that was held was to leave the eu entirely and take back control of uk boarders and laws. this doesnt meet that standard thats respecting the brexit leave vote.

I really can’t get my head round all these people who want to jump back into the EU. Brexit may not have been the deal we were sold, but this will cost us a fortune to rejoin, less influence than we had previously. Global instability has also not helped and to say that we would have done better if we’d remained is definitely not a given. The European big hitters are definitely not doing well. They will use as a cash cow at a time we cannot afford it. This will not end well

if we don't have access to the EU energy market why are we adhering to any rules they propose?

We’re being forced to buy into something that’s already a train wreck. Makes no sense and will not resolve a single uk problem. This Man should not be allowed to do this independently.

Unless you've succumbed to the fantasy and jingoism of empire, now long lost, and are suffering from delusions of misplaced national exceptionalism, anyone seriously interested in improving our situation should be able to see that reducing trade friction, increasing cooperation and pooling resources with our biggest and nearest market is just sensible - a pragmatic solution to a self inflicted problem and one that reflects current public opinion. The 2016 referendum was just the first step in a long, tedious, wholly unnecessary but inevitable journey back to Europe on worse terms than we had when we started. Europe is our direction of travel.
