@torrietucker7: Explaing red blood cells in your CBC. I feel like the most common reason for them being low is anemia. For an anemia dx though, they would check the other areas of the cbc that explain more about your red blood cells, plus things like your iron, your ferritin, etc. This goes for any diagnosis. Usually if the RBC are high or low, they will look into other tests as well to see what this means and what’s causing it.
