Whooooaaaa…. Hold on a minute! Normally I’d be onboard with something like this, but this gives people a blanket ability to cause a police investigation on mere suspicion? Do you know what an unfounded police report about sex trade would do to someone’s criminal record report/vulnerable sector check?? About the same as a false SA report! And there’s no recourse for a public mischief charge because it’s a permitted reporting process?? Even if the police show up and realize that it’s an unfounded compliant/mistake in circumstances, there’s still a police report on a person’s history that could prevent them from living a normal life!!!
