@itvnews: Voters in the United States have been heading to the polls in the country’s midterm elections. The results could drastically shift power in Washington, in a vote which is expected to serve as a referendum on US president Donald Trump’s second term. Trump has said elections that will decide control of Congress for the rest of his term in the White House are the most important “in our lifetime”. The first results are expected to begin coming in at about 11pm GMT. ITV News spoke to people in Detroit, Michigan on what key issues have shaped their vote. #itvnews

I understand the economy in America is doing absolutely awfully, the healthcare is sub third world and the education is arguably even worse, but how is the main issue on everyone's mind not the corruption and the fact that it's effectively turned into a fascist dictatorship?
