@calmmoneycoach: Accounts pretending to be me are messaging Canadians about investing right now. I'm never going to send you a friend request or message you first. If "I" message you, it's a fake. Canadians reported losing about $197 million to scams that started on social media in 2024. The fakes repost my videos under a name 1 letter off, and sometimes use an AI version of my face. The AI version has better lighting. 5 simple moves: 1. Look at the account. New, few posts, a name 1 letter off? 2. Find the real one through calmmoneycoach.com. 3. Ask the real person another way, like a call to a number you already have. 4. Don't send money or a code, or make a trade, because someone messaged you. 5. Make a deal with your family: any money message from "you" gets a phone call first. If it already happened, call your bank first, then report it to the Canadian Anti-Fraud Centre. Send this to your parents and grandparents. The real me is at calmmoneycoach.com #fraud #scams #canada #personalfinance #moneytips

I had the most number of followers from following you. I had to go block all of them.

TikTok is SO BAD! They refuse to do anything about these accounts. But yes, a new version of you follows me almost every day ☹️

@Brian | Calm Money Coach I find putting your username on your videos as a watermark across your body is hard to remove and they me compare to the scammer's username.
