@cmnewz: Two women have been charged with m*rder after a 4-year-old Georgia boy was found dead at an Atlanta home. Cobee Cooks died last week. Police discovered his body during a welfare check and determined he had been dead between 12 and 24 hours. Jasmaine Smoak, 32, a friend of Cobee’s mother who was acting as the children’s caretaker, has been charged with mrder, aggravated assault and cruelty to children. Jasmine Jenkins, 30, who was staying at the home, faces charges of mrder and cruelty to children. The investigation began on Oct. 26 when Smoak’s father called 911, reporting she had told him a child was unresponsive. Smoak had left the home the previous day with Cobee, his 5-year-old brother and two other children. She was arrested near Augusta, around 140 miles away. Cobee’s great-aunt has launched a GoFundMe, saying his father and other relatives had raised concerns about his safety and contacted authorities. “He was 4; he was just the sweetest little boy ever, always smiling,” his aunt said.
