I almost died last year from Rhabdomyolosis. Mine was caused by my heart medicine Rosuvastatin. It was awful. It took a month to get better.

I’m on Clomipramine, my back is hurting… I have wicked anxiety/OCD… rhabdo 😫 they did say it’s from sitting (therapist, pretty sedentary 8 hours a day… but I do workout in the morning)

When my son was in MIDDLE school he had this. He played baseball and got it from too extreme of a workout. His presented as one arm swelling pretty significantly. Scary.

Not me, a diabetic and also on a statin whose been dealing with muscle pain (likely from a pinched nerve) suddenly googling all this to find out if that’s what I really have and the Grim Reaper is at the door. No. Not me. Omg. WHERE’S MY RED FLAG?!?! 😳😳😳

I know someone who got it after a single session with a personal trainer. He wasn't physically fit for anything beyond complete beginner level, but the trainer pushed him a little, and that turned out to be too much.
