Milton had never been in a house, ran and hid from me at the shelter and hid under a table and peed on the floor every single time a person came near him. He rode on my lap 3 hours home from the shelter and has decided most people aren’t that bad after all. Every year our whole family and their dogs come over to celebrate another year of Milton. This was his birthday this year.

my dad rescued my dog from a shelter when she was 9 months old she was very loving but you could tell she was abused before we got her cause if you moved your hand to fast she would flinch she now just turned 7 and living her best life

My precious Tiabeanie. Hate saying it but my babygirl was born in a drug house. When i first saw her she was sleeping in the middle of the road trying to get away from the bad. That was 4 years ago. She’s my life ❣️❣️

Riley was abused by her 1st owner. she wasn't supposed to go Home with me, but I was just as damaged as her at the time. we saved each other. im blessed to have had a decade of love with my pup. R.I.P. sweet girl.

I'd like to add my gorgeous girl to the chat. My beautiful girl was 300lbs underweight, practically a skeleton when I first got her. She had terrible worms and was scared of everyone. Now she lives her best life eating all she wants and follows me around like a puppy 🥰

This baby was abused saved, then given to a family who put him outside. My spouse found him while working outside their house. Called me after giving him some beef jerky and asked me if he should bring him home. He's now our 4th cat and well loved. He was super skinny when we got him, had a severe double infection in his ears. Now he's chunky and infection free. We are going to be getting him the surgery to open his nasals so he can breathe easier. His name is Portland Toad Stool and he's a unit.
