I would absolutely take a reasonably timed & priced daytime train to Chicago regularly. Flying costs are ridiculous & driving there isn’t fun.

From Cleveland, live on Long Island. I would ABSOLUTELY use a daytime NY-CLE line. I love the Lake Shore Limited but 3am is hard to swing for people to pick me up.

The only reason I don't use Amtrak more often is because of this. I would use Amtrak all the time if they had some daytime Arrivals and Departures. The ridership would increase substantially

I love Amtrak and have taken it to Cleveland since the 90s. The obscenely late night arrival is a nightmare in that location.

And there is no even proper platforms. It’s like cargo train station not a passenger train station. I’ve boarded there once and straggled to lift my leg up and Im tall and fit guy! I can’t even imagine how seniors and people with disabilities doing this

I only use Amtrak to go to Chicago and New York City. If they had daytime routes especially to Pittsburgh I’d use the train more often

Yes, also a passenger service to connect the major metro cities. There's no damn reason why I can't catch a train from Columbus to Cleveland.
