I grew up with an alcoholic abusive father. It was so bad! I constantly stayed in fight or flight mode. I had to go to therapy later in life to overcome all that trauma. I promised myself I would never deal with that!

Appreciative of your story. You speak the truth of how Roxboro was and still is although small changes have evolved. I lived in Bahama/Timberlake in the 80's. it was a different world from Durham/Hillsborough NC. All have changed with growth

I think you are a better man/ person than a large majority of folks. NO ONE is perfect & we all have things that we might do differently if we could have a do over.
