People really need to do their research. First, this would have to pass. The initial phase would focus on electric vehicles, which don’t pay gas taxes. If the program proves successful and moves forward, a later phase could extend the mileage tax to gas vehicles while eliminating the state gas tax at the pump. It’s not about adding another tax on top of what we’re already paying.
