Reuben :

Yeah where i worked we did hot chocolates in long glasses, on a saucer, and a lady tried to grab one off my tray and didnt realise how hard it was to balance it so she spilled it all over her and her new purse, she tried to get everything freeand us to pay for her purse

B3ckx :

I've lost a tray of 12 drinks because a bloke did this once. I just stared at him, his wife smacked him and told him he had to buy a new round

Mark Harkison :

Why is the server apologising?

Tilly👹Morningstar :

wait, I've heard this exactly story before, it's think im goin crazy lol

Emily :

I genuinely I can’t like even picture ever thinking oh yeah I’m gonna take a drink off your tray. I’m gonna lean into your personal space and take a glass of this tray you’re carrying with one hand to help you out. I can’t even imagine thinking that would help not to mention. I’ve been a server. I know how everything is balanced if you take something off that whole trays tipping but like I can’t even comprehend why you think you would help by taking the drink off

Aimee M :

Did this but thankfully was only fresh oh and lemonade over a wain

Morg1603 :

Tbf I always place the wines and stemmed glasses first. Those fuckers don’t obey physics and are super wobbly
