The fact that Padme is standing by his side as queen baffles me. If Padme had survived Revenge of The Sith there is no way she would have stayed with him. She'd want to get herself and the twins as far away from him as possible. Then she would become a founding member of The Rebel Alliance alongside Bail Organa and Mon Mothma.

I mean on the surface it is cliche good vs evil (by surface I mean the major characters and factions as a whole), but it is a lot more nuanced if you actually look deeper into the parties involved. Let’s not act like saw gerrera is a saint for example.

Luke is the hero. Anakin was the chosen one. Anakin was suppose to be the hero but he failed. Luke is the hero. Luke helped Anakin find his true self again and fulfill his destiny. Doesn’t mean Anakin is the hero

Star Wars is the most blatant example of good vs evil you can make. The good guys were white, the bad guys wear black. The good guys use the blue weapon, the bad guy use the red weapon. The literal premise is the light side of the force vs the dark side 😭😭😭
