I still love Subway. It’s just… if I’m gonna spend $15 for one sandwich I’m not gonna do it at Subway. I’m gonna do it at firehouse.

Subway was great for that small window of time where they had the $5 footlong... that was the only justification to eat their subpar sub sandwiches.... now there's literally no reason because it's like 10 bucks for one foot long

Subway decided that they were going to cut their sandwich volume basically in half and at the same time charge double. AND at the same time seem to only hire people that have literally never ate a sub sandwich before to make them.

Then they went public and just like every company that goes public the quality took a nose dive so the profits and dividends to investors could go up

I used to eat Subway every day for lunch. Then I looked it up.... JUST the bread on the footlong was 40% of the daily recommended salt intake. Just the bread.
