@maizimmy: We are so excited to start expanding our collective primary residence of the future. Our goal is to redo the entire house in 3 phases & add a pool, but making the kids wing for our 5 boys is top priority. For now I call it my husbands home for clarity. We’re married so technically his home is my home and vice versa, but we say his home and my home separately because they are our separate primary residences for the time being. We still see each other 94% of days. It is expensive and inconvenient but worth it to maximize time with our kids. Also, love that I’ve found my people online. This is not entirely that uncommon nowadays if you didn’t pre-plan your post-divorce life while you were still married lol.
