@usanewsdesk99: “Saved By The Bell” Star Reveals Why He Is Upset Over Canceled Revival Mark-Paul Gosselaar is speaking out about the cancellation of the “Saved by the Bell” revival. The actor recently admitted he is disappointed that the Peacock streaming platform ended the series after just two seasons. The show brought audiences back to Bayside High in 2020. It mixed a new generation of students with original cast members like Mario Lopez, Elizabeth Berkley Lauren, and Gosselaar himself returning as Zack Morris. But in 2022, executives decided not to move forward with a third season. Gosselaar told Entertainment Weekly that the decision felt premature. He believes the reboot actually helped put the Peacock streaming network on the map. According to the actor, the series played a major role in bringing new viewers to the platform. What made the cancellation even more surprising to him was how well the production operated behind the scenes. After directing an episode himself, Gosselaar saw firsthand that the crew was highly efficient. While he understands that television decisions ultimately come down to network executives, he firmly believes the show deserved more time. Today, Gosselaar is using his famous Zack Morris “timeout” gesture for a much different purpose. He is currently partnering with AstraZeneca to encourage patients to pause and discuss personalized treatment options with their doctors. Do you think the network made a mistake by canceling the show too soon? #SavedByTheBell #MarkPaulGosselaar #TVNews #PeacockTV #ZackMorris
