@americandaily99: Quentin Tarantino Felt He Was Letting Brad Pitt Down—Until Another Famous Director Stepped In Quentin Tarantino thought he was letting Brad Pitt down by walking away from a highly anticipated movie project. The two had been planning to continue the story of Cliff Booth, Pitt's Oscar-winning stuntman character from “Once Upon a Time in Hollywood.” Tarantino had already written a full script for a sequel called “The Further Mis-Adventures of Cliff Booth.” But he ultimately decided against making it his tenth and final film as a director. Pitt was understandably disappointed that he would not get to play the character again. That is when the actor turned to an old friend for help. Pitt asked David Fincher, the legendary director behind “F*ght Club” and “Seven,” to read the script. Fincher was immediately interested in taking over the project, as long as Tarantino gave his permission. Tarantino admitted he was absolutely blown away by the unexpected offer. He said he felt completely validated as a screenwriter to have a director of Fincher's caliber spend a year and a half bringing his words to the big screen. Set in 1977, the new film follows Cliff as a Hollywood studio fixer alongside a massive star-studded cast. Audiences can finally see the collaboration when it hits IMAX on November 25 before eventually streaming on Netflix.
