we all have scary depths, flaws, and things we are not proud of. your transparency is truly something to be proud of. all the people you feel this way about, would feel the same if they laid all their dirty laundry out for you. some are better at hiding than others, and that’s not always an achievement. to be loved, is to be truly seen. no a facade, not a mask we put on that makes us look more lovable. it might take a long time, but there are people in this world for each of us. people that will see all our darkness laid bare, and will chose us anyways. and when you find those people, the feeling is indescribable. it doesn’t erase the time you spent feeling alone or unlovable, but it makes it lighter, easier to carry, and easier to let go. it’s cliche, but is simply not possible for one person to be liked or loved by everyone. we all have different experiences, backgrounds, trauma, and morals. the more you try, the closer you are to your people. if you keep trying, you’ll keep failing, until one day you succeed. but to never try at all? guaranteed failure. we all deserve our people, and we will find them one day 🤍
