@corrieehammond: 14 lines of boning, two full layers of horsehair, and an entire ballgown covered in the most incredible all over floral. naturally, we need to talk about the construction. one of my favorite things about bridal is getting into the actual engineering behind a gown, because so much of what makes a dress beautiful has nothing to do with what you see at first glance. the 14 lines of boning throughout this bodice help create that structured, sculpted shape while supporting the weight and volume of the skirt. and the TWO full layers of horsehair at the hem? that’s what helps give the bottom of this ballgown its shape, movement, and architectural fullness without relying entirely on layers and layers of crinoline. and then there’s the floral detailing. all over, from the neckline to the hem, with enough texture and dimension to make the entire gown feel like a piece of art. this is the kind of construction i could talk about for hours. a little bridal fashion, a little structural engineering, and a whole lot of appreciation for the work that goes into making a wedding dress look this effortless. @Vincent Elizabeth Bridal #BridalEducation #WeddingDressConstruction #BridalStylist #WeddingDressUnboxing
