Scream 7 kinda made the series feel less Scream and more Stab. idk what more they could do with her character.

like sidney is literally my favorite character in any movie, show or literally anything ever but her story is OVER. if people really love this franchise they would stop pretending to eat up the awful writing in scream 7

People complained when neve left scream 6, but it ELEVATED THE FRANCHISE and was what we needed to continue the story😩

I’m really curious to see how Sidney’s family story continues after everything that happened in Scream 7. I’m happy that Neve Campbell is returning because, in my opinion, Sidney Prescott is the heart of the franchise. However, I do feel that Sam and Tara’s storyline had a lot of potential and was particularly interesting. Personally, I always felt that Scream 3 was a natural conclusion to Sidney’s original character arc. Her story felt complete at that point, so while I appreciated seeing her return in Scream 4, Scream 5, and Scream 7, I never necessarily felt that her story needed to continue beyond the original trilogy. But hey I’m not complaining though because I appreciate that she has continued to honor the character and the legacy of the franchise. I’m definitely happy she’s returning for Scream 8. I just hope the film gives us more insight into Sidney’s family and allows her character to continue developing in a meaningful way.
