❤️🐾 The best therapist has four paws and four legs, and I’ve had the privilege and honor to come home to him every night for the past 7 years. He waits by the door, wanting to hear about my day. He doesn’t interrupt me, he doesn’t judge me, and he never tells me I’m wrong. He just listens. And I call him Max. 🐻🐾❤️ My fur-baby bear. He has been there through some of the hardest moments of my life. Through tears, heartbreak, loss, loneliness, laughter, and all the moments in between. He has seen me at my best and at my worst, and somehow, he has loved me exactly the same through it all. When I lost Angel, Max was grieving too. We lost the same person we loved, and somehow, we became even more of a family for each other. There were days when neither of us needed words. We just needed each other. Sometimes I look at him and think about how much he has been through, too. And yet, he still wakes up every day ready to love, ready to play, ready to greet me at the door like I’ve been gone for a lifetime. He doesn’t know about bills, heartbreak, betrayal, grief, or the worries that sometimes keep me up at night. He just knows that I’m his Mom. And I know that he is one of God’s sweetest blessings in my life. ❤️ My therapist has four paws. My comfort has four legs. My heart has a wagging tail. And when I come home, he’s waiting at the door. Wanting to hear about my day. And I call him Max. 🐻🐾❤️ My fur-baby bear. My constant. My unconditional love. My little piece of heaven on four legs.
