I honestly can’t remember many family meals growing up when we didn’t have somebody extra at the table or someone living with us. ❤️ Now, y’all know Mama doesn’t eat leftovers, but I’ve got some grilled chicken from the other night, and she’s never going to know the difference once I chop it up and turn it into a delicious quesadilla! 😂 And listen, I know some of y’all are just learning to cook or are afraid to experiment in the kitchen. That’s why I love sharing these simple meals! You don’t have to be a chef, and you don’t have to follow every recipe perfectly. Get in that kitchen, have some fun, and don’t be afraid to try something new! We’re also throwing together a quick homemade guacamole using some delicious salsa from our local friends at Guthrie Farms! We absolutely love their products, and I’ve linked them below. And in true Mama fashion, right in the middle of making dinner, she hollers that she wants a madeleine cookie! 😂 Never mind that dinner is almost ready. My great aunt never got to have kids past 3 generations had a second mom in her. For 3 years I lived with her this year in February she got put on hospice and I got the honor of helping her walk out of this world when she helped me learned how to live in it
