Congratulations to all these women. Although I was taught that a women should never be President- I honestly have to say that men in today’s society have failed us women. I chose not to cast my vote, I just watched in hope for a change in leadership. From the foundational roots of a home, to protecting, guiding their families and being a leader, a provider- they have failed us- I’m not talking about all men. As a single parent, I’ve carried more weight than a man. I’ve become the sole provider, my kids protector, the leader to my kids, guiding them, teaching them, showing them independence of a women, showing my kids teachings of a women. To use your two hands and not feel sorry for yourself, to stand strong, to use your voice and to be heard. I’ve also been abused, physically, verbally and mentally. I’ve been called every name in the book by a man. So when justifying who you are- remember actions speak louder than words. I remember about over 20 years ago before I had kids, my grandpa Joe Tallsalt & Thomas Y Bedonie once told me- never rely on a man, learn to do things on your own. One day he will get up and walk out that door leaving you to do everything. Don’t just sit there with your hands folded underneath your arms. Use them! I never forget those words of my cheiis. Now I can see why- lol. But Remember we are raising our kids in a world that no longer exists. We have to be more competitive, and smart. Change is good! 🫶
