@christopherhopkins1: 🍪 HOMEMADE KINGSTON BISCUITS = NEXT LEVEL YUM! 🍫 Just like the classic Arnott's bikkies… but honestly, even better! Golden, crunchy oat biscuits sandwiched together with smooth melted chocolate — they're an absolute treat with a cuppa (and super easy to make!). We are gone crazy for these Oat biscuits dear Foodies. You will too. Try it, please! And it's eggless - a zhooshed up Anzac kind of biscuit! INGREDIENTS: 🌾 100g (1¼ cups) quick oats 🌾 150g (1 cup) plain flour 🍬 165g (¾ cup) caster sugar 🥥 85g (1 cup) desiccated coconut 🧂 pinch of salt 🧈 125g butter 🍯 80g (¼ cup) golden syrup 🧂 1 teaspoon bicarbonate soda 🍫 250g milk chocolate melts (or cooking chocolate) HOW TO MAKE IT: 🔥 Preheat oven to 160°C fan-forced. Grease and line 3-4 baking trays with baking paper. 🥣 Combine the quick oats, plain flour, caster sugar, coconut and salt in a bowl. 🧈 Place the butter, golden syrup and 2 tablespoons cold water into a microwave-safe bowl. Heat for 3 minutes, 50% power, until melted. 🫧 Stir through the bicarbonate of soda (it'll froth up). 🥄 Pour the butter mixture over the dry ingredients and stir to combine. 🖐️ Roll into teaspoon-sized balls, place 3-4cm apart on the trays and press down lightly. 🍞 Bake for 12 minutes or until lightly golden around the edges. ❄️ Cool on the trays for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely. 🍫 Melt the chocolate (50% power, 30 second bursts) and let it cool slightly until thickened. 🥪 Spread a teaspoon of chocolate onto one biscuit and sandwich together with another. Set aside to set.
