Divorce may be a last resort, but why abandon your children too? Why hide your income, quit your job or refuse to pay maintenance, leaving mothers to shoulder the entire responsibility? Some men treat their children's mothers as enemies and use their own children to get back at them. Yet they have time to pursue their favourite Sunnah of four wives instead of finding four jobs to support their children and contribute towards the mothers raising them. Mothers should not be expected to raise children for free; fathers should financially contribute to the cost of their care. Judgement Day will indeed be interesting. It's time to speak up against this injustice!
