Gallaudet cites authoritative people he knows who have touched these crash retrieval programs, and says he knows of more than a dozen. "They've come from all over the world." Then he brought in his colleague Dr. Eric Davis, one of the leading authorities, in Gallaudet's words, who was involved with the science and physics of this topic. Davis, in Gallaudet's telling, has stated that "over two-thirds of these recovered vehicles have come from the maritime domain, the ocean." It matters because a retired rear admiral says he knows of more than a dozen recovered craft, and a colleague has said over two-thirds came from the ocean. It rests on Gallaudet's account of unnamed people who touched these programs, and of what he says Eric Davis has stated; on Hannity's show he named no one but Davis.
