I’m the opposite 😭😭 I got a partial highlight so only the top layer of my hair was bleached & the bottom half is virgin hair and I seriously have like 1/4th of the hair on top half that I do on the bottom

I think most people just don’t understand what fine hair looks like 😅 Fine hair doesn’t have to mean balding. You can have long hair, healthy hair, and many hairs. The big visual signs of fine hair though that are a dead giveaway regardless of all other factors is a) very flat roots b) see through/ wispy ends (oftentimes despite the hair appearing healthy) c) The ponytail test: hold all the hair in a ponytail, if the DIAMETER is tiny, dead giveaway for fine hair. This is my entire ponytail, so I feel you 😭

I will be yelling in the rest of the comment, so please excuse me, but: FINALLY!!! SOMEONE ELSE SAID IT. I HAVE THE EXACT SAME THING. I HAVE A LOT MORE HAIR ON TOP, MAYBE 3 STRANDS ON THE SIDE OF MY HEAD AND A LIL BIT ON THE BACK AND UNDERNEATH. I CANNOT DO HALF UP, HALF DOWN OR NICE HIGH MESSY BUNS, BECAUSE THERE ID NOTHING ON THE SIDE!!! Thank you for listening.
