@newdlenews: 8 PM midterms update: Jon Ossoff is projected to win Georgia’s Senate race, and Florida’s top races are running neck and neck. Ossoff has been projected the winner over Mike Collins. In Pennsylvania, Josh Shapiro is projected to win the governor’s race. In New Hampshire, Chris Pappas has also been projected the winner. Florida’s Senate and governor races are both running incredibly close. The margins are narrow enough that some people online are comparing it to 2000. Also in Florida, CNN projects that Democrats Kathy Castor, Jared Moskowitz and Pia Dandia will win their House seats. Republicans redrew those districts in the past year to give themselves an advantage. So far, 3 of the 4 redrawn seats are projected for Democrats. Early leads elsewhere: Keisha Lance Bottoms leads Republican Rick Jackson in Georgia. James Talarico leads in Texas, and Adam Hamilton leads in Kansas. In very early Michigan numbers, Abdul El-Sayed is ahead.
