i noticed in douyin makeup they tend to do a c-shaped inner corner highlight to frame the aegyosal and add contrast against the nose contour

Oh my god yesss ty! I’ve always felt concealer under the eyes made them appear almost smaller but I needed the brightness. You can really see how it opened up her eye so naturally!

Just a thought: Why do we Asians often feel the need to make our eyes appear bigger when applying makeup? Shouldn’t we also embrace and appreciate our natural eye shapes? They’re part of our identity, too, and beautiful in their own unique way. ❤️
