my mum had a brain tumour and after her surgery she was so vulnerable and needed so much love and care. brain stuff really messes with u even way after. i couldnt imagine not even visiting, glad the sister at least cares

this is your periodic reminder that they just let anyone become (bio) parents, that's no test, no license. that means there's no a priori reason that to believe that a parent is a good or decent person just because they're a parent. the only thing you know is they had sufficient biology to create offspring

Paying attention when your child (of any age) has a brain tumor is literally the bare minimum of parenting. They do NOT love their children, and they most certainly don't deserve their love or attention.
