@helensanderscatpaws: In memorial for a sweet kitten, gone too soon. Sometimes a lifetime of love has to be packed into far too short a time. Today, we said goodbye to sweet Prince Eric, a handsome four-month-old black kitty who touched many hearts in his short time with us. He was a lover of laps, a playful little brother to his siblings, and brought joy to everyone who had the pleasure of knowing him. His big brother Birch stayed close by his side and kept him company during his final weeks. Sadly, Prince Eric was born with a congenital kidney condition, and today we made the heartbreaking decision to help him cross the Rainbow Bridge. Although his time with us was far too short, he was deeply loved by his foster family (special thanks to Collette and Todd for being his hospice family), our volunteers, and the many visitors who met him at PetSmart. Run free, sweet Prince Eric. You were cherished every moment you were with us, and you will never be forgotten.
