Some guy in Indiana is NOT going to like this! Republicans have spent years using names like Barack Obama, Abdul El-Sayed, and Zohran Mamdani to stir fear among voters. Yet voters keep showing up for them. Obama recently campaigned in Detroit for El-Sayed, a Michigan doctor seeking to become the first Muslim elected to the U.S. Senate. Trump attacked him as a “Muslim Brotherhood Jihadist” without presenting evidence and urged voters to support Mike Rogers. Obama’s response? “It’s not gonna work!” Obama won twice. Mamdani became mayor of New York City. Now Republicans are trying the same tactics in Michigan. The message is clear: Judge people by their character, qualifications, and actions—not their names, religion, or background. Fear shouldn’t determine who gets to lead.
