@coloradonewsline: Denver voters on Tuesday elected Melat Kiros, a 29-year-old former attorney and democratic socialist, to represent Colorado’s 1st Congressional District. The Associated Press called the strong Democratic seat around 7:30 p.m. when Kiros led with 78% of the vote. She is the first Black woman elected to Congress in Colorado history. #coloradopolitics

Before property taxes in Colorado skyrocketed, my mortgage was 40-45% of my monthly income. Fast forward 8 years it’s around 55% of my monthly income. Result of Democrat policy
