It would cover 3 sites: 📍 Gullfoss waterfall 📍 Geysir geothermal area 📍 Þingvellir National Park 💰 Proposed cost per adult: ☀️ Summer (June–Oct): 4,500 ISK (about €30) ❄️ Winter (Nov–May): 3,000 ISK (about €20) It would be one pass covering all three sites, valid for a year. It applies to visitors 18 and over who aren’t Icelandic tax residents, so kids are free. For two adults, that’s roughly €60 in summer or €40 in winter. ⚠️ This is a proposal, not final. The draft law only went out for public consultation in September, so details could change. 🚗 Parking at these sites is also charged separately. My take: it’s a small price for protecting places that get overwhelmed with visitors. Still, I’d budget for it if you’re going in 2027. 📌Planning Iceland with kids?
