Agree the down stream impact is not just the cost for the loss, but also supply/demand will cause increase in cost for what’s available (same demand but less available) this is the second significant freezer hack in Europe, France was hit a couple of weeks ago. Also UK meat processing has been affected. This all plays into distruption for Europe/uk population, causing panic and increase demand (people will buy more because of fear it’s not going to be there tomorrow) and restricted supply (food loss) = increased prices.
