like literally, i say ‘try tucking for 8 years practically 24/7’ and it always freaks out the cishet men. but they don’t get how gender incongruency isn’t a choice and learning to do so simply eased any gender dysphoria? it makes me happy inherently to be able to be like and grow up like the many amazing women i know it my life in a gendered society; exactly the same feeling that young cisgender girls grow up with. it’s why every woman and man has slightly different ideas of what makes us men and women, in terms of gender and not sex as we have universally empirical definitions of male, female and intersex, it’s that simple. 🤷♀️

I keep trying tape (cuz binders are too suffocating in summer), i have scars of ripped off/damaged skin, but i still try because these few small amazing moments when everything feels right and somewhat comfy. no one would freely choose to do that.

I've been wearing 2 sports bras since I was 11, then I got my first binder at 14, I've been dysphoric about my chest since puberty and that's why I have shrimp posture. I didn't choose to feel like vomiting every time I saw my chest as a kid.

I wear them all most all the time for more than the recommended time (it’s dangerous I know) but I have E cups and it’s the only way I feel comfortable. Getting top surgery in January and I’m so happy and my ribs will thank me
