Does this absolutely suck? Absolutely. But, this is historically what happens in the midterms. And it’s always worse when gas and fuel prices are higher. In 2014, when the great Obama (sarcasm) was in his second term, the Republicans gained a 10 seat majority in the Senate and won 16 House seats from the Democrats. The difference? The media will inevitably exaggerate the implications of Democratic gains and make Republican wins seem inconsequential. And when the Republicans control Congress, they don’t start the next day by screaming about Trump getting his lawyers ready for impeachment fights. They eagerly get ready to do the jobs they promised voters based on policies. And, at the end of the day, I still rather have Trump as President and lose the Congress than Kamala ever sit in the Oval Office. Again, I am gutted but I will never lose faith in the greatest country in the world. God bless America! 🇺🇸❤️🇺🇸❤️🇺🇸❤️🇺🇸
