@thekingronda: Sunny Hostin is raising concerns after encountering an unexpected problem while trying to cast her ballot during the 2026 U.S. midterm elections. The 58-year-old *The View* co-host revealed that voting machines at her polling location in Westchester County, New York, were not accepting ballots on Tuesday, November 3. Hostin said she arrived before 7 a.m., completed her ballot, and attempted to submit it through a voting machine. But instead, poll workers instructed her to fold the ballot and place it inside an orange emergency bag because the machines were not working. She said she even asked about three other machines, only to discover that none of them appeared to be functioning. The problem wasn't limited to Hostin's polling location. According to the Westchester County Board of Elections, an issue involving the thickness of the paper ballots was preventing machines from accepting them at polling locations throughout the county. Election officials instructed voters to continue completing their ballots and place them in secure, monitored orange bags to be counted later. New York Attorney General Letitia James also reassured residents that their votes would count. Back on *The View*, co-host Joy Behar encouraged Hostin to report the problem, while Whoopi Goldberg urged voters to trust the election process. What began as one television host's frustrating voting experience quickly highlighted a wider election-day challenge affecting thousands of voters. **Would you feel comfortable placing your ballot in a secure emergency bag instead of a voting machine?** #SunnyHostin #TheView #USElections2026 #ElectionNews #breakingnews
